A private community by SAWL.life
Built for the life after the wedding
SAWL stands for South Asian Wedded Life. For years, SAWL.life has celebrated the weddings. The SAWL Society is for everything that comes after them.
Our story
Two decades behind the camera
Amy and Srinu Regeti — known professionally as The Regeti's — have photographed South Asian, Indian-American, and multicultural weddings across the United States for over twenty years. They have stood in the middle of hundreds of families on the most emotional day of their lives.
Along the way they noticed something: the couples who glowed on the wedding day were often on their own the day after it. The questions that actually shape a life — how to blend two cultures in one home, how to hold family expectations with love, how to raise children with two inheritances — had no community around them.
As an intercultural couple themselves, Amy and Srinu had lived those questions. The SAWL Society is the community they wished they had: private, warm, culturally fluent, and built for the long story rather than the single day.
